Eindhoven, Netherlands-Signify (European Stock Exchange in Amsterdam: LIGHT), a global lighting leader, recently announced that its WiZ platform has become the first batch of smart connected lighting systems to join the Matter interconnection standard, which will promote the integration of Philips on the platform Smart LED series products are upgraded to adapt to Matter interconnection standards. The Connectivity Standards Alliance officially announced the establishment of the standard on May 11. As an important part of the plan, Matter interconnection standards unify industry standards, optimize the smart home experience, and ensure safe and reliable connections between smart devices. The plan will be led by the Intelligent Interconnection Standards Alliance (formerly Zigbee Alliance), based on mature interconnection technology, simplifying the development process of manufacturers, and creating cross-platform ecological linkage for consumers.
 
The Intelligent Interconnection Standards Alliance expects to release the Matter Interconnection Standard in the fourth quarter of 2021.
